At the same time, the municipal government arouses public institutions to involve in enthusiasm and encourage to adopt the method of energy management contract retrofit to realize the twelfth five-year plan about energy-saving goal that unit building area of public institutions achieves the aim to reduce energy consimption of 20% in three years.
It is reported that Shenzhen the number of exterior lights especially LED street lights used goes ahead of large and medium-sized cities in mainland China. By the end of 2011, the number of Shenzhen led light bulbs in application is more than 23,000. Among them, LED street lights which were stalled by energy management contract model reached about 10,000, accounting for over 40% of all LED street lamps.
People's Congress on August 6 in Shenzhen city said that Shenzhen development and reform commission, together with the urban management departments formulated energy contract management reform plan on lighting exterior especially LED street lights to complete lighting exterior reform through energy management contract mode in three years.
